PREPARING FOR SCHOOL

For those children approaching school age, the focus is on preparing them for the challenge of school, whilst also encouraging a playful environment.

There are a wide variety of activities available based around the children's interests. We also introduce basic reading and writing skills.

The children are more aware of choice, and are expected to be independent and begin tidying up after themselves.

We often take the children out, sometimes to the shops to choose food, or to nature reserves and parks.

CLUB CHWARAE TEG

Once your child starts school and they begin to grow up their needs change. You may return to work, or start utilising the extra time you now have.

At Club Chwarae Teg we offer professional childcare all year round, after school and in the holidays, as often as you and your children need it.

Children love playing with toys and games that they don't have at home, and we also provide trips and outings in the holidays to keep them entertained. Our club is run by children for children, with just a little help from our play workers!

In Penrhyn Bay, the local schools we provide a collection service from are Ysgol Glanwydden (11am and after school) and Ysgol Bodafon (11.15am and after school).

HOLIDAY CLUB

The holiday club is much like the after-school club, in that we have a wide variety of activities available. We also take the children on many trips, including to the cinema, adventure playgrounds and sites of historic interest.

This summer we have also run a football academy which the children have loved and in which they brushed up on their football skills.
